Next,  we are going to the Jeonju Hanok Village 韩屋村

Jeonju Hanok village is especially beautiful for its roof curves. The roof edges being slightly raised to the sky is unique.

There is a karate performance in the villiage.  This guy is blindfolded and he will use his senses to smash the apple with his leg.

See he kicked at the right spot of the apple

The apple smashes and flung around

Gyeonggijeon Shrine 庆基殿
A landmark of the Jeonju Hanok Village, Gyeonggijeon Shrine was built in the 10th year of King Taejong’s reign (1410) to house the portrait of King Taejo, the founder of the Joseon Dynasty. Owing to its beautiful surrounding landscape, it has been used as a filming site for
many historical dramas and movies.

Jeonju Hanok village is especially beautiful for its roof curves. The roof edges being slightly raised to the sky is unique.

Most of the old houses have turned into shop houses

Korea houses typically have a low main door since the olden days. Entered this house,
the compound within is very big with many rooms.  One can figured out that it belongs
to a rich family

someone got lost?!

another seems lost too!

There are flyers of these pasted on the floor and around the house. Thought it was some drama filming here but after explained by the tour guide, it actually promoting some drinks.

A traditional letter box.  But do they have it in the olden days??

The houses compare to previous one,  this is more to the poverty families

Stools

How low their surrounding walls, one can easily climb over.  So you can imagine how low the gate entrance will be

With the stretch of hand,  one can easily touch the roof

Some concert or performance in the night

Jeondong Catholic Church 殿洞圣堂
Located at the entrance of the Hanok Village, the Jeondong Catholic Church was built on the very site of the Pungnammun Gate where the first Korean Catholic martyr was executed. This romanesque structure reflects a simple beauty; it is said that its cornerstones were built using the stones of the demolished Pungnammun Gate. Major attractions are the memorial stone of the first executed martyr and the cathedral’s stained glass, also depicting the martyrs.

I guess this doesn't exit here anyone?

Took our buffet lunch here.  But the word "buffet" doesn't get you to think the one that we are having here. It just many types of kimchi,  rice, brown rice,  deep fried pumpkin fritters and some vegetables.  Didn't remember to take photos.  They boil a big pot of drink at the entrance that taste like winter melon and it was good.

Taken this golden field from the coach window when it was moving

Damyang Bamboo Forest

As you walked in,  it is difficult to differential whether it is bamboo park or a forest. This has also been the spot for many of the Korea drama filming.

The only pandas here,  but it is fake

At the look you can feel the cool air as the whole surrounding is only green and black colours.  Can you see that there is some carving on the bamboo?  They are names of couples who had left the mark.

There are soveniours at the 1st and below levels

All sort of bamboo products

Bought this ice-cream that was made from the leaves of the bamboo and it has the taste of bamboo
