5D4N Bali (16 Nov - 20 Nov 2013) - Part 2/2 - Day 3, Day 4 & Day 5

Day 3  -  (18 Nov 2013)


After breakfast,  visit the Tanjung Benoa beach,  which have sea spot activities like banana boat, jet sky, para-sailing, glass bottom boat, diving and others.

Each of us were given a meal set.  The wrap banana leaf is the grilled fish.

Rice will be serve in the empty basket

soon all the food gone...must be too hungry

Next,  proceed to the Tanah Lot temple


Despite raining,  there is still a big crowd of tourist



Tanah Lot is located in Tabanan. The temple sits on a large offshore rock which has been shaped continuously over the years by the ocean tide

Next destination,  Alas Kedaton Monkey Forest





 It was stated that there are thousands of monkeys,  but we managed to see a few only
Saw this monkey trying to catch some dice


Be careful when you feed the monkeys.


They will start to cling to you




and out of the sudden when you moved on,  they will suddenly hopped on your shoulder from behind

 the guide (supposedly they are not really guide but stall holders who will eventually invited you to visit their stalls to buy some products) chasing the monkey with the umbrella

Spotted this baby monkey which is only few days old, about one and half palm size

This area is the tourist shooting area where the monkeys and bats hanging at the man made branches. Occasionally they will fight for territories.  Strange thing is that the bats doesn't fly away.  Wonder are they trained

Day 4  -  (19 Nov 2013)

Today the first destination, Dreamland Beach





Dreamland Beach is a beach that stretch 100 meters and leaned on a steep of white stone cliff overlooking to the amazing view of Indian Ocean. This beach is very attractive for tourist including the surfers

Found a dead weird fish that was swept in by the waves

Next, proceed to the Pura Luhur Uluwatu temple. It is a Balinese sea temple in Bali. Built in the 11th century and it is one of the nine directional temples meant to protect Bali from evil spirits

Following next,  we will be visiting the GWK (Garuda Wisnu Kencana), is a 240 hectares private cultural park. It is devoted to the Hindu god Vishnu, and his mount, Garuda, the mythical bird who is his companion. 
Below is the small statue showing the full design when completed

Currently, the statue of Vishnu is 23 metres (75.5 ft) high, although the original plan was for a 146-metre (479 ft) gold-plated Vishnu riding Garuda on top of an 11-storey entertainment complex.

 Garuda wing span will be 64 metres (210.0 ft) across. When it's completed, it will be the largest statue in the world

Next,  to the Jenggala Ceramic in Jimbaran










The next destination will proceed to the Galeri Keris, Nusa Dua, one of the largest department stores and Indonesian handicraft centres in Bali.









Dinner is seafood and will be at this beach with the intention of watching the sunset

Day 5  -  (20 Nov 2013)

On the way to the airport,  stop over at this shop that sells kueh lapis and honey cake.  Pre-order is necessary
