5D4N Bali (16 Nov - 20 Nov 2013) - - Part 1/2 - Day 1 & Day 2

Day 1  -  (16 Nov 2013)

The hotel, Bali Dynasty Resort that we are staying for the 4 nights.

There are 2 wings,  North and South Wings.  We are on the North Wing.

Spacious room.  Each day they will wrapped the bath towel into animal shapes. This is a shape of a dog

The resort within the hotel,  which is cater for families with children.  There are swimming pools with slides,  playground area, a mini flying fox etc.

There are also some sea spots but no people around,  thinking it is still early in the morning

Day 2  -  (17 Nov 2013)

After breakfast,  we proceed to the Barong and Kris dance at Batu Bulan.  The entrance to the show


There are 2 shows daily. One is the Barong & Kris Dance and the other is Kecak & Fire Dance show. We are watching the earlier show

The Barong-Play represents an eternal fight between good and evil spirit. Barong, a mythological animal represents a good spirit and Rangda, a mthological monster represents an evil one





















After the show,  we continue to visit the home industry batik and handicraft factory at Ubud
The worker is using a hand held instrument that is filled with the colouring to paint on the cotton fabric

The next destination, Luwak coffee agro tourism. The products are all organic

Luwak coffee.  It was produce through the process of the civet (Luwak) consumed the best coffee beans which then  collected in their droppings. 

Brewing the coffee.  Coffee powder is put inside the top cylinder glass. Another glass placbelow for boiling the water

once the powder becomes liquified, it will dripped down and mixed with the hot water below to become coffee

After the coffee agriculture tourism,  proceed to the holy spring of Tampaksiring temple.  You need to wear a sarong if you are wearing pants or skirt exposing your legs below your knee.

A lot of people though it was raining quite heavy. At the entrance to the place where the water flows down from the holy spring



The water comes out from the spring at this temple is believed to get rid of all the bad things in the body and purifies the soul and mind after showering.



Tampaksiring Presidential Palace, stood on the initiative of President Sukarno, who wants a resting place away from the cool weather of the city, suitable for the President of the Republic of Indonesia and their families as well as for state guests.
