After breakfast, proceed to Kukup. Along the shelter way from the bus terminal to the ferry terminal. The driver mentioned that there will be flood in the early afternoon.

Later, will be entering here to the resort

Since it is still early, shall visit the fish farm by taking the ferry

Our lunch at the Kukup seafood restaurant.  Would be better if we can order without going through the resort package

After lunch, we will shocked to see the whole street flooded.  Luckily we managed to reach before it flood,  if not have to walk all the way in the water from the bus terminal as you can see in ther earlier photos

It just rare occaional that you can see the flooded Kukup,  unless you specifically comes in the raining season at the end of the year.







We took the ferry from the restaurant to our resort so not much of problem with the flood.  But understand it would subside in 2 hours time.

The owner specially reserved the rooms for us near to the kitchen area.

All the rooms are double decker bed,  but is is queen size bedding.

We have a bunch of youngsters in this group, so karaoking is their cup of tea.  Good voices.

Finally their turn,  almost waiting for about 2-3 hours

After the flood subsided,  venture to the Kukup street.  This restaurant sells coconut pudding in three different flavours.  You can also buy back and they will pack 5 coconuts in a styrofoam box for you

all putting the efforts to make sure it floated up,  after some unsuccessful previous attempts due to the poor quality of the paper and some even have holes














We have fish porridge for supper which was cooked by the lady boss herself.  Good and tasty.

This is high tide,  if not you will see very muddy river bed with mudskipper (彈塗魚)



There are more new resorts coming up.  This is a 3 storeys resorts.

Along the way out,  a foot reflexology shop



and many shops selling local dry seafood and snacks
